Worst of Paris/Milan Spring 2013
Commes des Garcons
Is that a velour coat? I guess it takes attention away from the unibrows and flaming orange hair.
Rick Owens
I guess Snuggies have hit the runway!
Thom Browne
Clown-chic?
Umit Benan
Frank Zappa lives!
Walter van Beirendonck
If you ever wondered what it looks like when you got dressed while high on a mixture of meth and bath salts...
Yohji Yamamoto
Hammer time!
"Buddy can you spare a dime?"
I think the clothes fit him before his body shrank.
Pierre Cardin
Inspired by Laser Cats?

Salvatore Ferragamo Men's RTW Spring 2013
Some summer shows are colourful, some are not. This collection was definitely in the former category and was consistent with some of the other collections from this season that have made bold use of bright yellow and orange tones.

Pierre Cardin Men's RTW Spring 2013
What's the only thing worse than a wannabe, avant garde, modernist fashion show that totally misses the mark? A show that presents horribly dated and discredited futurist designs. This collection conjures up parodies from The Simpsons of 50's and 60's visions of what the "future" will look like.
I understand that Pierre Cardin was once a legendary designer but by the time I was growing up in the 80's, he had long licensed his name into oblivion so that his shirts were synonymous with generic Sears crapola. Is it surprising that the 90 year old designer's comeback show--featuring no less than 150 looks-- was a complete trainwreck?

Givenchy Men's RTW Spring 2013
Ricardo Tisci is definitely doing something different. It's no small feat that he managed to come up yet another fresh take this season. Clearly he isn't content with simply sticking with his proven winning formula involving items such as man-skirts and memorable graphic designs. I think even the Russian judge will agree that the champ was successful in defending his title.
